Richard Guerrieri is a lifelong rancher who, as a friend said, “is also an amateur philosopher,” traits that don’t often go together. Now he adds “entertaining writer” to his list of assorted skills. Richard was born in 1931 in Crested Butte and has lived his entire life in Gunnison County.
Phyllis Charlene Spann Guerrieri was born in Gunnison, Colorado in 1932 at the ranch home of her parents, Aubrey and Ernestine Spann. She has spent her entire life as a fourth generation rancher in the Gunnison Valley. Her art reflects her love of family, western landscapes, and a life in agriculture.
